Born in Paris in 1962, Frédéric Malle is the grandson of Serge Heftler, founder of Dior Perfumes. Thus he was raised in respect for the perfumer’s craft, in the very heart of its traditions.

After finishing his studies at the University of New York (NYU), he was asked by Jean Amic in 1988 to work for Roure Bertrand Dupont. At the heart of this company, he was initiated in all the secrets of the craft and came into contact with the greatest contemporary perfumers.

Since 1994, Frédéric Malle, as a consultant to the world of perfume, has worked for clients such as Christian Lacroix, Chaumet, Hermès International, Mark Birley for Men...
